After Shave Balsam: alcohol-free soothing after shaving<\/h2>\n

The After shave balsam from the Medex for Men line is alcohol-free. It hydrates, soothes and softens; afterwards the skin feels softer and is calmer.<\/p>\n

Medex explicitly sets the balm against ordinary aftershaves with a lot of alcohol. According to the manufacturer those irritate most skin types.<\/p>\n

The burning feeling after shaving is taken away by the balm. It also works soothingly and antimicrobially, which comes in handy with small shaving cuts.<\/p>\n

For a client who shaves daily that is the difference between skin that keeps getting redder and skin that comes to rest. The After Shave Balsam is therefore the product with which you often start in this line.<\/p>\n

In the morning routine from Medex the After Shave Balsam follows the cleansing with Cleansing Gel. Then let it absorb for 5 to 10 minutes before you apply the Protective Nourishing Gel.<\/p>\n

Allantoin forms the basis of the soothing action. Medex obtains that substance from wheat germ, chestnut bark and comfrey.<\/p>\n

Hamamelis Virginiana, better known as witch hazel, works astringently. That suits skin that has just been over the blade.<\/p>\n

The balm further contains Sodium Lactate, urea and Niacinamide (vitamin B3). Those three work on the moisture household of the horny layer.<\/p>\n
