Re-genesis Cream: anti-ageing night cream with Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4

At night the skin gets the rest to recover, and this jar of 150 ml is set up for that. Re-genesis Cream is an anti-ageing night cream intended for mature, already somewhat wrinkled skin and in particular for skin that has had little care in the past.

This anti-ageing night cream revolves around Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4, a vectorised peptide: the lipophilic palmitoyl chain carries the active pentapeptide deeper into the skin. The pentapeptide behaves like a messenger and prompts fibroblasts to produce more collagen and glycosaminoglycans, which restructures the extracellular matrix.

In its own in vitro research the manufacturer measures an increase in collagen type IV synthesis of 100 to 327% and 267% more glycosaminoglycans; in its own in vivo research 80% of the test panel saw a clear decrease in deep and medium-deep wrinkles after six months.

L-lactic acid, the natural alpha hydroxy acid from yoghurt and tomato among others, stimulates cell renewal in the epidermis and the production of ceramides. Niacinamide complements that: vitamin B3 builds lamellar lipid layers that strengthen the barrier and increases the resistance of the skin.

Comfort is provided by shea butter, vegetable glycerine, urea and sodium lactate, all water-binding or softening, with natural vitamin E as an antioxidant against lipid damage in the cell membranes.

Home use: apply in the evening after cleansing and lotion, if desired over a specific product. In the salon you apply the cream after the active creams and the mask; with an evening appointment you use it as a finish instead of a day cream.
