Medex Cypresse Day Cream: cypress day cream with a natural UV filter

This cypress day cream has been developed for moisture-poor and delicate skin and restores the moisture level while it protects. The jar of 50 ml belongs to the Quintenstein line and is the last step of the morning care routine.

Cypress oil, obtained from Cupressus sempervirens, has a pleasant woody fragrance and is antiseptic and vasoconstrictive. That makes this cream the logical choice for clients with couperose.

The protection comes from micronized titanium dioxide, a mineral pigment that reflects both UV-A and UV-B. Because of the micronization no white haze remains on the skin, not even under make-up. In its own explanation the manufacturer states that 80% of skin ageing caused by external factors is prevented by protection against influences such as air pollution and UV radiation.

Xylitylglucoside and anhydroxylitol replenish the moisture reserves and restructure the micro-relief of the skin, which makes the complexion look smoother. Shea butter softens and works favourably on dry, burnt or irritated skin. As an antioxidant, vitamin E protects the lipids of the cell membranes and influences the moisture balance and the microcirculation; the essential fatty acids of vitamin F support the fat metabolism in the skin.

Advise your client to apply the cream in the morning as the last care step, before make-up, after cleansing with Lait Elure, Lotion Fragilis and/or Aqua Rosa from the same line.
