Hydrophilic Oil: hydrophilic cleansing oil for dry skin
Water and soap are not a good combination for severely moisture-deficient skin: the cleansing itself then accelerates the dehydration. Hydrophilic Oil, a hydrophilic cleansing oil, replaces that step entirely and returns skin lipids while it cleanses.
This oil is intended for dry, sensitive and less firm skin, and is expressly suitable as well when the skin is extremely moisture-deficient. The pump bottle of 120 ml doses precisely.
The base is rice bran oil: a clear yellow oil that stays clear even at low temperatures and naturally contains a high level of vitamin E and phytosterols. Those phytosterols promote the microcirculation and reduce redness after sunburn.
The formula has a bio-active base of natural oils. Hydrophilic means here that the oil lets itself be emulsified under the influence of water, so that you rinse it off instead of wiping it away; meanwhile the essential skin lipids are replenished immediately.
Those same properties make the oil pleasant to use during a massage, which is handy if you want to combine cleansing and touch in a single treatment step. Sensitive or slack skin tolerates this way of cleansing well too.
Application: apply daily to dry skin with wet fingers and massage until a white emulsion forms. Rinse off with lukewarm water and dry with damp cotton wool.
