Crème Riche de l’Océan: marine 24-hour cream with algae stem cell extract

On the open ocean, algae and seaweeds have to process an amount of uv radiation that no land plant can match. Their protection mechanisms are correspondingly advanced, and this marine 24-hour cream is built up from exactly that.

Crème Riche de l’Océan comes in a jar of 50 ml, suitable for every skin type and with a full skin feel that pleases above all with a delicate, dry or moisture-poor skin.

The antioxidant heart consists of algae stem cell extract of Undaria pinnatifida, better known as wakame. The gametophyte form of it activates the natural defence against oxidative stress and has, in more recent research, stronger antioxidant properties than classic algae extracts.

Alaria esculenta, a brown alga from the north-eastern Atlantic Ocean, focuses on DNA protection and detox, among other things by elimination of the ageing protein progerin. In its own in vivo research the manufacturer measures 20% more elasticity and 25% more firmness; 65% of the test panel observed a reduction of wrinkles.

Palmitoyl isoleucine, an aminolipid of the essential amino acid isoleucine, gives a plumping effect on elasticity and volume, on the cheeks for example, and strengthens the cell detoxification via the proteasome.

The emulsifier polyglyceryl-2 stearate is Ecocert/COSMOS certified and matches the skin’s own lipids, which supports the repair of the skin barrier after uv exposure; that can be read from a lower moisture loss (TEWL). Shea butter, natural vitamin E and pro-vitamin A complete the care.

Application: every morning and evening on the thoroughly cleansed skin.
