Medex Sun with Sense Sun Sensitive Skin: sunscreen spf 20 with tanning accelerator
Sun with Sense Sun Sensitive Skin is a sunscreen spf 20 in an airless dispenser of 100 ml. Medex determines the factor in vitro.
Medex aims this product at sensitive skin and describes it as protection and tanning at the same time. The cream lets sensitive skin get used to the first sun.
For that it contains a tanning accelerator: Oleoyl Tyrosine. The cream is further enriched with vitamins and plant extracts, so that the skin is also cared for during that acclimatisation.
D-Panthenol delivers provitamin B5 and hyaluronic acid retains moisture. Honey (Mel) and Bisabolol work soothingly, Tocopheryl Acetate delivers vitamin E.
The uv protection comes from Ethylhexyl Triazone, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate and the broad-spectrum filter Bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine. That combination covers both UV-A and UV-B.
Start with short exposure and build up slowly as the skin tans. Stay under an hour of direct sunlight per day and avoid the sun between 11.00 and 15.00.
Dry yourself immediately after swimming, because water droplets work like a magnifying glass. Then apply again and wear protective clothing.
Round off the day with the Sun with Sense After Sun. With sensitive skin that aftercare is at least as important as the sunscreen spf 20 itself. Medex publishes no full INCI list.
