Crème Riche de l’Océan: 24-hour cream with algae from the ocean

Day in, day out, algae and seaweeds catch an enormous dose of uv radiation on the open ocean. Their protection mechanisms are therefore exceptionally far developed, and that is exactly where the Medex laboratory gets the antioxidant trio of this 24-hour cream with algae in a jar of 150 ml.

The stem cell extract of the gametophyte form of Undaria pinnatifida, better known as wakame, activates the skin’s own defence against oxidative stress. In scientific tests this form of the brown alga has shown stronger antioxidant properties than classic algae extracts.

Alaria esculenta, a brown alga from the North-East Atlantic Ocean, focuses on DNA protection and detox, among other things by the elimination of the ageing protein progerin. In its own in vivo research the manufacturer measures 20 percent more elasticity and 25 percent more firmness, while 65 percent of the test panel observes fewer wrinkles.

Palmitoyl isoleucine complements that with a plumping effect: it stimulates elasticity and volume, on the cheeks for example, and accelerates the cell detoxification via the proteasome. The barrier is taken care of by an Ecocert-certified emulsifier that matches the skin’s own lipids and lowers transepidermal moisture loss, plus shea butter, vitamin E and natural pro-vitamin A from carrot extract.
