Crème de Réveil: day cream with spf 15 that stimulates growth factors
Protection and repair in one step: this day cream with spf 15 combines daily uv screening with an action that wakes up the mature, slack skin.
Growth factors are proteins that are made by keratinocytes in the epidermis and move to the dermis by diffusion, where they give the signal to produce more connective tissue. A declining production of growth factors is an important characteristic of skin ageing, and that effect is stronger with those who smoke or sit in the sun a lot.
The extract of Crocus chrysanthus stimulates the keratinocytes, which are easily reachable from outside. Those start to make more of the body’s own growth factors, which translates in the dermis into a higher density and a better elasticity.
The filters are heavily chosen. Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate captures uv-A, which can cause sun allergy and unwanted skin ageing. Ethylhexyl Triazone covers uv-B, responsible for burning and redness. Both filters are so photostable that they do not break down themselves under sunlight.
Bisabolol from German chamomile calms and works anti-inflammatory, which also makes the cream usable on a sensitive skin. Vitamin E moreover protects the lipids of the cell membranes.
In the salon you round off the treatment with this cream. At home the client applies it every morning to the thoroughly cleansed skin. The jar of 150 ml is generously sized for cabin use.
