Soin de Jour SPF 15: rich day cream spf 15 for dry, sensitive skin

A complex of more than seven active ingredients, brought together in a cream that protects at skin level as well as at cell level. This rich day cream spf 15 was developed for dry and sensitive skin and feels gentle despite its richness.

The oligopeptide acetyl hexapeptide-49 is there especially for skin that reacts with redness, itching, burning and stinging. It breaks the cascade of inflammatory factors such as PAR-2 and the interleukins IL-6 and IL-8 that are produced in the keratinocytes of sensitive skin. Sensitivity decreases and the skin barrier functions better.

Three algae do the anti-ageing work. Stem cell extract of Undaria pinnatifida, wakame, strengthens the defence against oxidative stress. Alaria esculenta helps prevent DNA damage from UV and oxidation and eliminates the ageing protein progerin; in its own in vivo research the manufacturer measures twenty per cent more elasticity and twenty-five per cent more firmness, while 65 per cent of the test panel observed fewer wrinkles.

Fucus vesiculosus supplies fucoidan molecules that lie over the skin like a second skin, together with gluconolactone, a polyhydroxy acid from the generation after the fruit acids. That hydrates and helps a damaged skin barrier recover. Shea butter softens, vitamin E protects the cell membranes.

For the UV protection the formula works with a photostable UV-A filter and two UV-B filters, so that the filters do not break down themselves in sunlight. In the salon you finish the treatment with it; at home your client applies it last in the morning, just before make-up.
