Medex Mask Defetiscor Essential 150 ml: astringent mask with herbal extracts

For the oily and combination skin this is an astringent mask that stimulates at the same time. The base is a herbal palette with lavender, juniper and lime.

Horsetail does the work at connective tissue level. This herb contains a high percentage of silicic acid, works in a calming, skin-firming, circulation-promoting and contracting way, and has a deep action right into the dermis, where it stimulates the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid from amino acids.

Juniper oil is calming and relaxing and is mentioned in the literature in connection with acne and other skin problems. Lime oil enlivens the dull skin and degreases. German chamomile brings bisabolol with it, good for a calming plus antibacterial action, and lemon balm supplies rosmarinic acid with antiviral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties.

In the treatment you first cleanse and deep-cleanse with the products that suit the skin type, apply the appropriate actives and spread the mask thinly and evenly over the face. After fifteen to twenty minutes of drying time you take it off with a lotion and continue in the usual way.

A practical tip from the cabin: if the mask does not take well on the skin, mix a little Gelée Royale Gel or Gel de Liposome through it on your hand. Rubbing them together in the hands and emulsifying makes the whole immediately easier to spread.
