Crème Softly Légère: light day and night cream without perfume

Crème Softly Légère is the lightest cream in the Softly line by Medex. It is made for extremely sensitive skin and contains no perfume — one of the first things you leave out when a skin can no longer take anything.

Medex describes the cream as very gentle and light. That is where it differs from the Grasse in the same line: that one is rich and creamy, this one is light. In practice it means it absorbs quickly and leaves no film behind.

The cream is intended for extremely sensitive skin and in particular for oily and combination skin types. That is a combination you meet in the treatment room more often than you would think: a skin that overreacts and produces too much sebum at the same time.

You use it as both a day and a night cream, applied to cleansed skin. One product for both moments, so your client only has to remember one routine.

The active substance is Glyceryl Caprylate, a moisturizer with a C8 carbon tail that holds moisture in the skin. Medex releases no further ingredients; a full INCI list is not available.

On extremely sensitive skin it pays to introduce one product at a time. If your client starts with this cream and no reaction follows, you know where you stand before you add the rest of the line.

The cream comes in a 50 ml jar. Store it at room temperature and out of direct sunlight.
