Medex Deep Clean 150 ml: mild deep facial cleanser with sea alga

Phase 1 of the Medex Professional treatment scheme asks for a cleansing that goes deep without exhausting the skin. This deep facial cleanser does that with chamomile extract and a pure sea alga, and is suitable for every skin, also around the eyes.

The red alga Chondrus Crispus is harvested in the ocean around Hawaii and holds moisture. Thereby the barrier function improves and the skin becomes tighter and softer; the polysaccharides of this alga give the characteristic velvety soft feeling afterwards.

German chamomile is rich in bisabolol and related compounds. The lipophilic constituents calm and have a certain antibacterial and antimycotic action, which is pleasant with a skin that reacts quickly after cleansing.

As emulsifier there is cetearyl glucoside in it, of plant origin. It forms lamellar structures and mixes with the skin’s own lipids, whereby the right amount of moisture stays in the skin.

In the salon you use it as the deep cleansing product in phase 1. At home your client applies a small amount two to three times a week after the lait, emulsifies for five minutes with wet fingers, removes with plenty of water and continues with the night cream or a mask.

The real argument for this deep facial cleanser lies in what comes after it: the skin is made receptive, whereby the night cream penetrates better and you get more result from the creams you sell.
