Masque Myrrha: aromatic myrrh face mask with Quercus meristem

Masque Myrrha is an intensive aromatic myrrh face mask, in a 150 ml jar for cabin use. You apply it to the face twice a week, leave it on for fifteen to thirty minutes and remove it with damp sponges and Aqua Rosa. In the treatment you preferably combine it with the Avostem Eye Mask on the eye zone.

Myrrh extract has a restoring and protective action on the skin: astringent, antiseptic and antibacterial, specifically against Propionibacterium acnes. That makes the mask well suited to oily, sensitive and acne-prone skin. The extract has a very distinctive, recognisable scent.

The Quercus meristem, a natural oak extract with tannins, increases the resistance of the skin to external stress factors and captures free radicals. That combination with myrrh gives the recovery of the skin a new impulse, even on sensitive skin.

The essential oils ylang ylang and geranium bring sebum production into balance and have a relaxing effect. Ylang ylang can therefore be used on both dry and oily skin; geranium is antibacterial and fungicidal as well.

Kaolin provides the purifying side: this strongly absorbent powder clay takes up sebum residues and dirt, so the skin is cleansed right into the pores and feels soft. Niacinamide stimulates the production of ceramides and strengthens the skin barrier in that way, and Spilanthes Acmella firms through reorganisation of the collagen fibre network. Vitamin E completes the whole as an antioxidant.
