Spécialité “Platine” Dorée: platinum serum with gold and caviar

The showpiece of Charlotte Sophie Cosmétique is a platinum serum: a gel-liquid based on metallic gold and platinum. The bottle of 250 ml is intended for the salon treatment and for home use, and suits every skin type.

Gold does more than give shine: it slows down the breakdown of collagen, improves elasticity and supports the barrier function of the skin. Platinum is credited with recovery-promoting properties, right up to support of DNA repair, with the condition of the skin improving in general.

The oceanic red algae extract Porphyra umbilicalis makes this platinum serum special. This alga survives a high dose of uv-A on the open ocean and does so with particularly stable mycosporine amino acids. In the formula these protect the skin cells, including the DNA and the cell membranes, against the effects of uv-A.

Underneath lies a classic, solid base. Caviar extract supplies essential amino acids and fatty acids, oligopeptides and trace elements as nourishment for recovery; hyaluronic acid binds water and keeps the moisture balance in the horny layer up to standard; marigold extract soothes and is anti-inflammatory and antibacterial.

In the salon you follow the Charlotte Sophie treatment protocol. At home the client applies the serum morning and evening with soft tapping movements in a thin layer, after cleansing with Lait de la Mer Emollient and Lotion de la Mer Equilibrante, and finishes with a cream from the same line.
