Lotion de la Mer Equilibrante: pore refining caviar lotion with pH balance

After the cleansing the skin is seldom left behind exactly in balance. This pore refining caviar lotion seizes that moment: it brings the pH value of the skin back into equilibrium and is suitable for all skin types.

The real caviar is an extract of sturgeon caviar and supplies essential amino acids and fatty acids, special oligopeptides, proteins and trace elements. For the skin that works as a nourishment which supports repair at cell level, right down to the connective tissue structures collagen and elastin.

L-lactic acid does the refining work. This alpha hydroxy acid stimulates the production of new cells in the epidermis and sets the biosynthesis of ceramides in motion in a stereo-selective way. More ceramides in the horny layer means a firmer lipid barrier and therefore less dehydration. Sodium lactate adds to that as a moisture binder from the Natural Moisturizing Factor.

D-panthenol explains why the lotion is aimed at pores: of pro-vitamin B5 it is known that it helps to reduce the pore size and excessive sebum production, and it reduces redness. Niacinamide meanwhile strengthens the barrier and increases the resilience of the skin.

In use you apply the lotion morning and evening with a cotton pad, after cleansing with Lait de la Mer Emollient, spread over the neck and the face. The pump bottle of 120 ml doses sparingly and works pleasantly at the treatment chair.
