Vitamin E serum: powerful antioxidant for mature skin
This vitamin E serum belongs to the Serum Repair Therapy by Medex: a range of concentrated serums that you use as a course of a few weeks, or keep using alongside daily care.
The active substance is tocopherol in the form of D-alpha-tocopherol — according to Medex 100% natural and 100% active. Vitamin E is a radical scavenger; that is why this serum is used on irritated or damaged skin.
Medex calls the serum suitable for mature skin, damaged skin, fine lines, unevenness and redness. Its positive effect on the micro blood circulation is what visibly improves the skin texture, according to the manufacturer.
You use it twice a day: a few drops on the skin, with your usual day and night cream over them. Which cream that is does not matter — the serum works underneath.
Medex states that the composition penetrates so strongly that the serum is also suitable for men’s skin and darker skin. That is not a given with this type of product.
In the salon the Serum Repair Therapy is the answer for the client who wants more than a cream, but is not yet considering mesotherapy or a procedure. It is an in-between step you can explain well.
The bottle holds 20 ml. Medex does not publish a full INCI list; only the active substance has been made public.
Store the bottle at room temperature and out of direct sunlight. Vitamin E is more stable than vitamin C, but light and heat do it no good here either.
