Lotion de la Mer Equilibrante: pore refining lotion with caviar
After the cleansing the lotion determines how the skin takes up the rest of the treatment. This bottle of 250 ml from the Charlotte Sophie Cosmétique line brings the pH back into balance and works at the same time as a pore refining lotion, on every skin type.
Caviar extract gives the lotion its character. The extract of sturgeon caviar contains essential amino acids and fatty acids, oligopeptides, proteins and trace elements, a combination of building blocks that the skin uses for repair at cell level and for the connective tissue structures collagen and elastin.
L-lactic acid is the alpha hydroxy acid on which this formula leans. It stimulates cell renewal in the epidermis and sets the production of ceramides in motion in a stereoselective way; more ceramides in the horny layer means a firmer lipid barrier and less moisture loss. With hyperpigmentation L-lactic acid is moreover more effective than glycolic acid, because it inhibits the formation of the enzyme tyrosinase.
In addition sodium lactate works as a water-binding molecule from the Natural Moisturizing Factor and niacinamide, vitamin B3, provides extra ceramide formation and a higher resilience of the skin. D-panthenol adds to that: it reduces redness and is known for making the pore smaller and tempering excessive sebum production.
Have your client spread the lotion over the face and neck with a cotton pad morning and evening, directly after the cleansing. You get the best result when Lait de la Mer Emollient has been used to cleanse beforehand.
