Wadden Silt Clay Scrub: wadden clay scrub for the clay scrub ritual
The Wadden Silt Clay Scrub is a purifying wadden clay scrub in a jar of 500 gram and the centrepiece of the Xenymphus Clay Scrub Ritual. The structure is medium-fine and the scrub is specially intended for the legs.
The starting point is strongly purifying clay. Kaolin has a great absorption capacity and takes up skin oil, sebum residues and dirt from skin microbes. The skin is thus cleansed and detoxified right into the pores and feels soft and smooth afterwards.
The Wadden coasts are known for their fertile sea clay, rich in minerals and trace elements including calcium, magnesium and iodine. Those minerals are exactly what distinguishes this clay from an ordinary scrub base.
Two algae reinforce the action. Lithothamnium Calcareum is very rich in minerals and trace elements, with iodine in the form of the iodide ion. Fucus Vesiculosus supplies magnesium, potassium, iodide, iron and zinc, the vitamins A, C and E, and alginates with a powerful moisture-regulating action on the skin.
In the treatment you apply the clay and let it work for fifteen to twenty minutes. If you have a steam cabin, you use it for an extra warmth effect. Then you rinse the scrub off under the shower with rotating movements. The ritual is also suitable to do with two people, which makes it usable as a duo arrangement in the salon.
