Spécialité d’Argireline: argireline ampoules with pure hyaluronic acid

Actives in a cream are released gradually; an ampoule delivers a burst. That difference is the reason to start a course when the skin needs more than daily care. This pack contains eight argireline ampoules of 5 ml with a soft gel-liquid for mature skin.

Argireline acts on the synapse of the nerves that control the small muscles in the skin. If those receptors are blocked, no neurotransmitters are released and the muscles contract less, so that wrinkles arise or worsen less quickly. Only a concentration of 10% is effective.

The manufacturer refers to research in which Argireline (10%) gave 30% wrinkle reduction after thirty days compared with placebo, published in Int. J. Cosmet. Sci. in 2002. Besides Argireline the formula also contains Inyline, which blocks on the other side of the synapse; that pre- and postsynaptic approach targets expression wrinkles such as crow’s feet and forehead wrinkles.

The carrier is pure hyaluronic acid, a glycosaminoglycan native to the body from the ground substance of the connective tissue. It binds a lot of water and in this way holds the moisture balance. After the age of thirty the body’s own supply decreases, which makes the skin drier and gives it a finely crackled appearance.

Use: remove the spout, cut off the tip and spread a few drops over the face. Finish with a cream from the same line; the argireline ampoules and the cream reinforce each other. Store the ampoules cool.

Recommend the course once or twice a year, as an extra impulse alongside the regular care. Pre-cleansing can be done with Lait de la Mer Emollient and Lotion de la Mer Equilibrante or with the Méthode de Nettoyage Sophie.
